Hubert Vester Auto Group is seeking a Sales Manager.

Summary

We are looking for a motivated Sales Manager to join us in supporting our dealership staff and customers while assisting us in building and representing our brand.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with our employees and customers to develop relationships and help to enhance the sales process
  • Build rapport with customers to establish customer network
  • Provide training and support to the sales staff and assist in closing deals
  • Help manage all other aspects of the sales department

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma
  • Prior sales management experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Understanding of inventory control
  • Strong computer & phone skills (Internet, Microsoft Office, CRM)
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, with ability to work within a fast paced environment
  • Current, valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)

The General Sales Manager position is the leader of the Sales Department, overseeing New and Used Sales, Financial Services, and Customer Care. This role drives the performance of the Sales Department by attracting, developing and retaining great talent and creating an exceptional buying and ownership experience for our customers.
 

Who Would I Interact With?
 

This position interacts daily with customers, store associates and manufacturer representatives, just to name a few.
 

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?
 

Setting new and used car goals for the store to achieve targeted performance in all areas of the Sales Department
Engaging and motivating the team to achieve key goals, performance expectations and Honda of Superstition Springs best practice processes
Attracting, developing and retaining the very best talent for the Sales Department
Creating an exceptional customer experience to drive customer loyalty
Developing and maintaining productive relationships with manufacturer partners
Analyzing the business to determine shortfalls and developing action plans to improve performance.Driving the business through a high-level of involvement in the day-to-day operations

The performance of a General Sales Manager is measured by achieving:

Targeted expense management

What are the requirements for this job?
 

High School diploma or equivalent
Automotive retail General Manager experience
Ability to set and achieve targeted goals
Proven ability to attract, develop and retain great talent
Strong financial and business acumen and the ability to drive revenue and profitability
Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
Organization and follow-up skills
Experience and desire to work with technology
Valid in-state driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
